Maine flag description

The state seal was adopted in 1820, and the state flag was adapted in 1909.The flag and the seal are identical. The flag and seal of the state of Maine features the state coat of arms on a blue field. In the center of the shield, a moose rests under a tall white pine tree. A farmer and seaman represent the traditional reliance on agriculture and the sea by the state. The farmer represents Maine’s agricultural roots, and the sailor represents Maine's coast. The mouse is Maine's state animal. The blue background on Maine's flag is the same color blue that's on the United States flag. The flag should have a fringe of yellow silk and should have blue and white cord attached to the spearhead. The North Star represents the state motto: Dirigo ("I Lead"),and travelers have depended on the star for many centuries since it always marks north.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the “Boring” history of Maine is not so boring after all. All of the historic events that have just been stated have their important roles in history, they are all important  in their own ways.
